Lake Hamilton
Lake Hamilton is famous for its huge striped bass. There are a number
of hotels and resorts located close to the lake, and they provide
decent access to all parts of Lake Hamilton.
Those who are interested in fishing here are advised to get up before
first light and fish till 10 a.m. If you wish, you can also fish at
night; but be careful of the shoreline lights, which can make the lake
dangerous during night-time hours.

Lake Catherine
Enjoy fishing during the winter season only at Lake Catherine. There
is a certain point in this lake where the water used to cool AP&L’s
Lake Catherine Steam Electric Station gets discharged. Since the water
discharged by the plant is approximately 10 degrees warmer than the
water at the other parts of the lake, it attracts bass and other fish
to it, making it an ideal spot for fishing.
This lake has a variety of species of fish such as the spotted bass,
smallmouth bass, black bass, white bass, as well as the black and
white crappie.

trips for you and your family at reasonable rates. The prices should
include lodging, food, and a guided fishing trip.
However, you should remember to take your fishing license along with
you. None of the fishing locations listed below have any provision to
provide you a license.

Lake Greeson
Touted as being one of the best and natural fishing lakes, Lake
Greeson provides tourists with an option to catch catfish, crappie,
and black, white and striped bass. The fishing package includes
lodging in new and luxurious cottages that face the woods.
The package includes a half-day guided fishing trip, along with all
required gear, for up to two people. If you so desire, you can also
book rental fishing boats. You can save yourself some money if you
take this trip during the off season (September to December).
