Suwanee River Wilderness Trail in Florida 2

Suwanee River Wilderness Trail in Florida 2

If you don’ t just love canoeing, but also love biking and hiking, excellent opportunities await you at the Suwanee River Basin where you can undertake overnight hiking trips or have a leisurely walk during the daytime.

Bicyclists will enjoy both the on-road and off-road trails around the area, some of which are quite challenging. As well as this, there are many other activities that you can indulge in, including horseback riding, snorkeling, and scuba diving.

If you just do not have the energy for all these outdoor activities, just relax in your camp and watch the wildlife on this river’s wilderness trails.

This is a great vacation for the whole family, no matter what their interests, or level of fitness. There is lots to do and see, and you can keep costs down by planning to camp and cook (following all park rules about camp fires, please!)

I’ve always wanted to “check this river out” for it’s historical nature for the most part. But, here, after reading a bit more about it….it sounds so tranquil and beautiful. It WOULD make a great “get-away” from the everyday grind…so to speak! And, being a big nature lover….this article makes it sound all that much more enticing!
